Residents of the region are being offered the chance to give their views on proposed changes to older people’s healthcare and adult community services in this region. Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group has launched a public consultation asking for residents’ views on the way a number of organisations are proposing services could be delivered differently.

More than 20 dates for public meetings have been announced, with residents having until 16 June 2014 to give their feedback. A meeting will take place in Royston on the 16th of May, from 1pm to 2.30pm, at the Methodist Church Hall, Royston Methodist Church, Queens Road, SG8 7AU.

These proposals are not entirely uncontroversial, so local residents may well be interested in taking part in this. For more on the consultation, see the Clinical Commissioning Group Web site; a petition arguing the case against the currently proposed changes can be found on the 38 Degrees site.
